Anna Barnett, 74, of Parrish (formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana), passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at her residence.  

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Cletus Church, 3600 Claire Ave., Gretna, LA on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 10:30 am followed by a celebration of her life at the Knights of Columbus Hall in the rear of the church.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her father George David Motte Jr.; mother Ruth Ann Childress Narvaez; stepfather Albert William Narvaez Sr.

She is survived by her husband Samuel Barnett; sons Jason Andre' (Kim) and Steven Andre' (Mary Ann); brothers George D. Motte (Jackie) and Albert W. Narvaez Jr (Troyann); sisters Juanita N. Doyle (late Douglas), Gail N. Cassard (Rene), and Kelley Narvaez (John Paul); grandchildren Jordan Andre’, Jackson Andre’, Monica Andre’, and Jaden Andre’; and many nieces and nephews.
