Mrs. Barbara Ann Osborn, 81, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Ridgeview Health Services. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with her care.

 She graduated from Dublin High School (Dublin, VA) in 1960 where she played the trombone in the marching band. She studied Art at the University of Tennessee. Barbara loved to travel. She especially enjoyed traveling on Baltic and Mediterranean cruise ships and visiting all ports along the way.

 Mrs. Osborn is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Charles and Vaunise Christine Haga; son, Scott Buchanan; and daughter, Beth Buchanan.

 Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Richard Mervyn Osborn; son, Berkley (Buck) Buchanan, Jr. (Kim); daughter, Karen Buchanan (Brian Mitchell); sister, Connie Phillips; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

 A memorial service will be held at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Chapel on September 30, 2024, at 10 a.m., 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN, 37920.
