Mr. David Andrew “Sam” Kiker, 85, of Empire, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at St. Vincents Health System. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with his care.

Mr. Kiker is preceded in death by his father William David Kiker; mother Lela Walker Kiker; and a host of brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Kiker; daughters Sharon Kiker Gilbert (Bengie) and Shannon Kiker Aultman (Gabe); son Larry David Kiker (Ellie); sister Sue Gray; and grandchildren Jason Gilbert (Jessica), Kourtney Kiker (Bryan), Kelsi Rogers (Tyler), and Noah Aultman.

Services: Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Dillworth Church of God, with a celebration of life service following at 12:00 PM. Pastor Nelson Kimberly will officiate. Burial will be at Shanghai Cemetery in Quinton.
