Helen Laverne Lawrence, 83, of Quinton, passed away on Friday September 16, 2022 at Cordova Health and Rehab.

The family will receive friends on Monday September 19, 2022 at 1 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Quinton, AL.  Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM.  Burial Will be at Brasfield Cemetery.  Richard Davis will officiate.

Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 53 years and was also the director of VBS there for many years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend to her daughter Kim.  She was a caregiver to many children throughout her life and will be missed by so many.

Mrs. Lawrence is preceded in death by her husband Charles Lawrence; son Jeff Lawrence; father Burgie Higgins; and mother Lurley Higgins.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Norris and son-in-law Tim Norris; granddaughter Payton Grace and her husband Caleb Grace, granddaughter Mabry Norris, granddaughter Anieca Henderson and her husband Jonathan Henderson and granddaughter Charlianne Lawrence; great-granddaughter Era Grace, great-granddaughter Zoe Henderson, and great grandson Isaac Henderson; and best friend Irene Ballenger.

Pallbearers Daryl Alexander, Nick Alexander, Andrew Alexander, Joe Lively, Dale Blanchard, and Jonathan Henderson.
