Mr. Kenneth “Ken” N. Earnest, 75, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at his residence. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with his care.

Mr. Earnest is preceded in death by his parents K.O & Katherine Earnest; brothers Ronnie Earnest and Mark Earnest; sisters Linda Conners, Kathy Metcalf, Janet Strickland, and Jo Ann Smith.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Carol Earnest; daughters Veronica Earnest Panter (Terrell) and Wendy Jean Earnest Tidwell (Randy); son Chris Earnest (Tina); sisters Penny Earnest Gunter and Judy Rivers; brother Michael Earnest; grandsons Mason Tidwell (Mallory), Erick Tidwell, Luke Tidwell, Shaw Panter, Coleman Panter, and Shawn Earnest; granddaughters Tyler Earnest, Landi Gilliland (Jacob), and Sarah Tidwell; great-grandchildren Ayden Anderson, Ilah Gilliland, and Jovi Gilliland.

Pall Bearers will be Mason Tidwell, Erick Tidwell, Luke Tidwell, Shaw Panter, Coleman Panter, and Shawn Earnest.

Services: Visitation will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with funeral services following at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Billy Luster will officiate.
