Margie Laverne Russell, 78, of Jasper, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at her residence.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 10, 2022, at 12:30 pm at Faith Freewill Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be at Old Zion Cemetery.  Eddie Lockhart will officiate.

Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Russell; father Charlie Duncan; mother Aronie Duncan; son Mike Russell; sisters Marlene Ballenger, Myra Bagwell, and Marie Lockhart; brother Marvin Duncan; son -in-law Danny Keeton.

She is survived by her daughters Sandy Lawrence (Chris), and Cindy Keeton; sister Melissa Bryant; grandsons Blake Lawrence (Malia), Rylee Lawrence, Justin Russell, and Austin Russell; granddaughters Amanda Myers, and Stephanie Conner; brothers-in-law Eddie Lockhart, And Raymond Ballenger. 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
