Mrs. Myrtle Odean Taylor, 88, of Arley, passed away on Friday May 9, 2025, at her residence. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with her care.

Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her father Lacy Patton; mother Trannie Abbott; sons Douglas Lee Taylor and Danny Roland Taylor; and grandson Darik Taylor.

She is survived by her husband Willis Oneal Taylor; daughter Thelma Sides and Denise Landers; sons Dennis Taylor, Dallas Taylor, and Nathan Taylor; brother Junior Abbott; grandchildren Dylan Childress, Jennifer Partain, Jessica Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Justin Taylor and Nick Taylor.

Services: Visitation will be held Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM at The Arley House of Prayer, with funeral services following on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the church. Burial will be at the adjoining cemetery. Daniel Taylor will officiate.
