Mrs. Shelbi Kay Gann, 48, of Parrish, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2024, at Brookwood Medical Center.  Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with her care.

 

Mrs. Gann is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Gann; father Shelby Gene Simmons; brother Jay Simmons; grandmother Gertha Harper; and grandfather Arvel Harper.

 

She is survived by her mother Barbara Jean Simmons; daughter Shelbi Mae Sullivan (Austin); sons John Cameron Murray and Bradley Thomas Gann (Mindy); sister Donna Faye Hardin (John); brothers Michael Gene Simmons (Jennie) and Bobby Gene Simmons (Sherri); grandchildren Amberly Murray, Liam Sullivan, Emmy Sullivan, Kellan Sullivan, Adam Gann, Owen Gann, and Nora Gann; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Services: Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 10 AM in the Sam Hood Memorial Chapel, with funeral services following at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be at New Horizon Memorial Gardens.  Andy Frazier will officiate.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home.
