William Dean “Woody” Benson, 79, of Nauvoo, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, at his residence.

There will be no services at this time.

Mr. Benson is preceded in death by his parents William Jefferson Benson and Cora Hazel Benson; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters

He is survived by his wife Charlene West Benson; sons Kendell Lamar Benson and Gary Lynn Benson (Tonya); brother Ben Benson; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
