Licensed Funeral Director / Owner

Dennis is a licensed funeral director with 40 plus years’ experience.  He has been a member of the Masonic Lodge for 35 years.  He is a member of the York  211 F. & A.M. Lodge and Lamon Chapel 723 F.& A.M. Lodge.  He has also been a member of the Lamon Chapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 334 for 11 years, and has served in many capacities for both organizations. 


He is  a history buff and enjoys genealogy research and cemetery surveying, but mostly enjoys spending time with family and friends. He has one daughter, Jaidia, who is following in his footsteps as a funeral director/embalmer and  has lived in the Walker County area his whole life.

Office Manage/Apprentice Funeral Director

Andrea is our jack of all trades. Andrea is a recent graduate of Jefferson State Community College in the  Funeral Services progam,  she also holds a degree in surgical technology, but has worked in many areas of the medical field (human and animal) over the years.  She serves as our office manager,  family consultant, and apprentice funeral director. 


She has one son named Jordan and 4 doodles that keep her very busy and entertained. She attends Desperation Church  and enjoys trips to the beach and spending time with family and friends and her favorite place to visit is Savannah, Georgia.  She was born and raised in Jasper, Alabama but spent several years living in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Apprentice Funeral Director & Embalmer

Jaidia is a recent graduate of Jefferson State Community College where she received a degree in the Funeral Service Program.  Before deciding to follow in her dads footstep in the funeral business she was a CNA for

many years.


She is married to Tyler and together they have a little zoo of animals and creatures consisting of an 8 yr old puppy named Paisley, a turtle named Ziggy, two frogs Hip and  Hop, a gecko named Earthquake, and a host of fish. She enjoys reading and crocheting in her free time. She is also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Lamon Chapel.
